Tales from the tearoom: Mr Nicetea
Earl Grey Tea

Earl Grey Black Tea

Welcome to Sydney. Glorious Sydney where you can get a cup of tea in every teahouse, cafe and Aussie Hotel for around five smackers, but is the brew worth its due?

Sometimes it is and sometimes it isn’t. Most of the time, after I am done drinking, I am inspired to continue with my stated goal of helping Australia become number one in the tea culture field.

So what does that mean?

Well, for most people it simply means being able to brew a nice cup of tea. And for others it will be a sacred art-form that it would be best if you did not mock it or mess with it. And then there would be a rare few, not too rare but enough, to make Australia the place to come if you are looking for real adventure based around tea.

Now imagine that: Didn’t your mother ever tell you not to mess with tea drinkers?

Better stick to beer and coffee, where it’s safe. Ah tea. Who would have thought it could be so exciting?

Everybody’s trying to be hip and cool around coffee. But what’s this? Mister Mild Mannered man over there sitting with his silk-hiding-steel lady drinking tea? Better watch out… I think we might have a live one: Cliched action-adventure. The tea had better be brewed right or it’s gonna get ugly…
