Rooibos

Rooibos (Afrikaans for ‘red bush’; scientific name Aspalathus linearis) is a member of the legume family of plants, and is commonly used to make a tisane (herbal tea). It is caffeine free and is said its taste resembles black tea. Rooibos and Honeybush have similar nutrients – zinc, copper, calcium, just to name a few. They are both known to help relieve colic, anxiety, as well as easing skin conditions such as acne and eczema.
