Our cast iron teapots feature an enamel-coated interior, which:

• Protects the cast iron from rusting.
• Makes the teapot easier to clean.
• Prevents tea from coming into direct contact with the cast iron.

Heating the teapot directly on a stovetop or over an open flame can damage the enamel coating, causing it to crack or flake. Damage caused by direct heating is not covered under warranty.
